Solar thermal panels: The most well-known form of solar panels is photovoltaic energy, which is the conversion of light energy into electricity. However, the most cost-effective use of solar energy with existing technologies is to directly capture the heat from solar radiation using panels and use this heat to heat air or water.
Solar water heater: A solar water heater will therefore heat water. The water is heated in a tank and can then be used to heat domestic hot water, to heat the house via heated floors or radiators, or both.
Solar air heater: A solar air heater allows either to distribute the heat captured via ventilation ducts or to blow it directly into the room where it is located.
